These are important factors to consider when purchasing
a pop-up display. The price of the display is not
always the COST!
Many frames are manufactured using cheap plastic
or low cost brittle metal hubs, riveted with poor
quality pop rivets and inexpensive aluminum tubing.
All tend to fair poorly to extreme temperature changes,
such as aircraft flights or when being erected by
inexperienced exhibit staff. While most fabric panels
use front runner fabric, it must be noted that the
thickness of the substrate used for backing this fabric
varies considerably and, therefore, allows for why
some panels do not last as long as others.
Graphic panel prices often show huge price differences.
Generally speaking, this is due to the materials used
to make the finished panel and the process selected.
The net result is premature delamination, ill fitting
panels due to poor cutting, inferior hanging ability
due to thinness of the panel and/or lamination process.
Lifetime guarantees mean nothing with regard to fixing
the frames by many of the companies out there because
they charge for parts and labor in almost every instance.
Inexperience of staff and attitude, lastly, can be
costly for you. This is where tradeshow knowledge
and advice can advance the pulling power of your display
immensely, or leave it as one of the many average
ones.
It is the goal of most companies to grow, increase
profits and market share. In doing so, the future
needs for displays will change. The company you choose
to deal with, should therefore, reflect such change
and be able to offer you alternative display choices
for that growth. While not perfect, Jemco Display
Products qualifies in all of the above areas. We are,
therefore, a wise choice and very cost effective.
